So who is Michael?
Michael Gonzalez is a multidisciplinary designer—conceptualizing, designing, and executing strong, emotionally driven experiences for an ever evolving world. His design philosophy is simple—create flexible designs that allow for future improvements, reflect optimism and beauty, and can be enjoyed by everyone.
Michael is currently designing at General Motors Company's internal CX design team, creating visionary, from forward thinking vehicle commerce experiences.
What sets Michael apart?
Michael’s shorter time in the industry compared to his peers gives him a fresh perspective of complex design challenges, allowing him to look past “not possible” and instead ask, “How might we?” He is comfortable taking ownership of undefined work and bringing structure to the nebulous. While he holds himself to high creative standards, he remains committed to continuously improving his skills as a designer and collaborator.
Michael enjoys many of the same things as everyone else—like browsing million-dollar homes on Zillow, convincing himself that his two cats actually enjoy constant attention, and drinking a borderline dangerous amount of espresso. He’s also a fan of rich, cinema classics, such as Avengers: Infinity War and Big Momma’s House 2.
